Job Description
GEMS Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers for all subjects across our diverse network of schools in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum (e.g., UK, IB, American).
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and welfare.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, and professional development programs.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
- Stay updated with best practices in education and curriculum developments.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant subject area with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed).
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized educational institution.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong pedagogical skills and knowledge of modern teaching methodologies.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Proficiency in using educational technology.
- Valid teaching license/certification from home country.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching an international curriculum (e.g., IB, UK National Curriculum).
