Job Description

GEMS Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Teachers across all subjects to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, adhering to curriculum standards and school policies.
• Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student well-being and academic achievement.
• Participate actively in professional development activities, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral observations.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources to cater to varied learning styles and abilities.
• Integrate technology effectively into classroom instruction to enhance learning experiences.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of students inside and outside the classroom.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching qualification/license from a recognized educational authority in your home country.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in an accredited K-12 school.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
• Strong classroom management skills with a focus on positive reinforcement.
• Ability to differentiate instruction effectively for diverse learners, including those with special educational needs.
• Proficiency in educational technology, including interactive whiteboards and learning management systems.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching an international curriculum (e.g., IB, British, American) standards.
• Previous experience working in a multicultural or international school environment.
• Knowledge of Arabic language and culture (beneficial but not required).
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes and fostering academic excellence.
