Job Description
Join Jacobs as a Sustainability Consultant and contribute to impactful projects that shape a more sustainable future. This role is open to talented professionals seeking visa sponsorship to work in the United States. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, conducting environmental impact assessments, and advising clients on best practices in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and circular economy principles. You will work within a dynamic team, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions across various industries, helping our clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes and achieve their sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to sustainability consulting projects, including strategy development, carbon footprinting, life cycle assessments, and ESG reporting.
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental regulations, emerging sustainability trends, and best practices.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist clients in setting ambitious sustainability targets and developing roadmaps to achieve them.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Jacobs to integrate sustainability principles into broader projects.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client engagement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and circular economy principles
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven project management abilities
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Eligibility for U.S. visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with carbon accounting software or climate risk modeling
- Certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED AP, GHG Protocol, ISSP-SA)
- Familiarity with international environmental regulations and standards
- Experience working with diverse client portfolios (e.g., corporate, public sector)
- Fluency in additional languages
