Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Systems Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our global supply chain systems and processes, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and data integrity. You will work cross-functionally with various departments to identify system improvements, implement solutions, and support the ongoing evolution of our supply chain technology landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, advanced analytical skills, and experience with enterprise-level ERP and supply chain planning systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing supply chain systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and implement system enhancements and new functionalities within ERP (SAP) and other supply chain planning tools.
  • Collaborate with IT, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful system integration.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on supply chain systems and best practices.
  • Manage system configuration, master data, and user access controls to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Lead or participate in projects related to supply chain technology upgrades, migrations, and new system deployments.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in supply chain planning and execution systems (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle SCM).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent understanding of core supply chain principles including inventory management, logistics, and production planning.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • APICS (CPIM, CSCP) certification.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in the agricultural equipment manufacturing industry.
