Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our operations team in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role is critical in optimizing our intricate supply chain network, ensuring efficient product flow from vendors to customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to enhance supply chain performance.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to forecast demand and plan supply.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain resilience and efficiency.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Eligible for visa sponsorship and willingness to relocate to Burnaby, British Columbia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
