Job Description
Are you a highly motivated university student with a passion for data, analytics, and problem-solving? Safaricom is offering an exciting Summer Data Science Internship opportunity in Kisumu. This internship provides hands-on experience working with large datasets, applying machine learning techniques, and contributing to real-world business challenges under the guidance of experienced data scientists. You will gain invaluable exposure to the telecommunications industry and learn how data drives strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets for analysis.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support the development and implementation of machine learning models.
- Prepare visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on various projects.
