Job Description
We are seeking bright and enthusiastic students for our Summer Data Science Internship program in Aberdeen. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Support the development and implementation of machine learning models under supervision.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand client needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to documentation of data methodologies, models, and findings.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL for database querying.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
