Job Description
Join Accenture’s team as a Summer Data Analyst Intern in Savannah, GA. This internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring data professionals to gain hands-on experience with real-world data challenges. You will work alongside experienced data scientists and consultants, contributing to projects that help our clients make data-driven decisions. This role is designed to develop your analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and implement data visualization dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Support the design and execution of A/B tests and other experimental analyses.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Contribute to documentation of data methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with data cleaning or statistical analysis projects (academic or personal).
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
