Job Description
Intermountain Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Radiologist to join our dynamic team in Provo, Utah. This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Radiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services within a state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures and other image-guided interventions as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports to referring clinicians.
- Consult with physicians on appropriate imaging protocols and interpretation of results.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical conferences and contribute to patient management decisions.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Engage in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental process improvements.
- Mentor junior staff, residents, or fellows if applicable.
Required Skills
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of an accredited Radiology residency program.
- Board-certified or Board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
- Valid medical license in the State of Utah (or eligibility for licensure).
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies across modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Abdominal Imaging).
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques and procedures.
- Prior experience in an academic or large hospital setting.
- Track record of participation in research or quality improvement initiatives.
