Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution in Manchester. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons to students of diverse ages and abilities.
• Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials that promote active learning and cultural understanding.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning Spanish.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience teaching Spanish at primary or secondary levels.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (C1/C2 level) and professional fluency in English (C1 level).
• Proven ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Understanding of various teaching methodologies for language acquisition.
• Eligibility for visa sponsorship in the UK and a genuine commitment to relocating to Manchester.
• A deep passion for teaching and inspiring students.
• A valid teaching qualification or certification from your home country.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or Spanish.
• Experience teaching international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, A-Level).
