Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Munich. This role is open to non-EU candidates who qualify for the German Blue Card program, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a world-class engineering environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies and/or full-stack development.
- German language skills (B2 level or higher).
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
