Job Description

Maxim’s Group is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Entry-Level Social Media Handler to join our team in Tuen Mun. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about digital communication and eager to grow their career in social media marketing. You will play a crucial role in managing our local brand presence across various social media platforms, engaging with our community, and creating compelling content.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies for local brands/outlets within the Tuen Mun area.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, video) for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and align social media efforts with overall business goals.
• Track and report on social media performance using analytics tools, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Support promotional campaigns and events through social media outreach.

Required Skills

• Strong interest and understanding of major social media platforms and their dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, mobile video editing apps).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• No formal degree required; a strong portfolio showcasing social media activity or projects is highly valued.
• Prior experience managing personal or small business social media accounts.
• Experience with social media analytics tools.
• Photography or videography skills.
• Familiarity with the Tuen Mun community and local F&B scene.
