Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Social Media Content Reviewer to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for evaluating user-generated content across various social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and platform policies. This is a full-time, remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home anywhere in the United Kingdom. You will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and positive online environment for millions of users. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, but prior experience with content moderation or a related field is a plus. This role requires resilience and the ability to handle potentially sensitive and graphic content while adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate user-generated content, including images, videos, text, and audio, against established guidelines and policies.
  • Identify and escalate content that violates policies, such as hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, or harassment.
  • Make accurate and consistent decisions on content removal or retention, ensuring timely resolution of reported items.
  • Collaborate with team leads and quality assurance specialists to ensure consistent application of content policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving content policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all reviewed content and internal processes.
