Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee complex construction projects in Glasgow. This pivotal role involves managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all construction activities on site, from project initiation to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Manage site budget, control costs, and track expenditure.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager on large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Valid UK driving license or ability to obtain one.
  • Eligibility for visa sponsorship and willingness to relocate to Glasgow, UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices.
