Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, from urban design and master planning to park development and ecological restoration. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading design efforts, managing project timelines, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable landscape solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and detailed design development for a variety of landscape architecture projects.
• Conduct site analysis, inventory existing conditions, and prepare comprehensive site assessment reports.
• Develop high-quality graphic presentations, including renderings, diagrams, and illustrative plans.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams (architects, engineers, planners).
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
• Ensure design solutions adhere to relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and public presentations, representing AECOM with professionalism.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and technical proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and client relations.
• Eligibility for professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (e.g., CLARB certification for reciprocal licensing).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (RLA or PLA).
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Lumion).
• LEED AP or SITES AP accreditation.
• Experience in large-scale master planning or urban design projects.
• Familiarity with local zoning ordinances and environmental regulations in Florida.
• Public speaking and presentation experience.
