Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas regularly to ensure safety and security of premises and personnel.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
• Control access for employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations according to established protocols, including fire, medical, and security incidents.
• Complete reports by accurately recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Conduct security checks and ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with emergency services as needed during critical situations.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong observational and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Ability to operate security equipment and systems, including CCTV and access control.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for report generation and system monitoring.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure or emergency situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security role (e.g., military, police, or private security firm).
• Valid security certifications from recognized authorities (e.g., SIRA, PSBD, or similar local equivalents).
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Fluency in additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Tagalog.
