In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations to determine the suitability of individuals for various levels of security clearance required for government and sensitive roles. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive background investigations for security clearance applications, including interviews with applicants, references, and other relevant individuals.
• Verify information provided by applicants, including employment history, educational qualifications, financial records, and residential history.
• Identify and analyze potential security concerns or areas of risk, reporting findings accurately and objectively.
• Compile detailed, factual, and unbiased reports that adhere to strict government and company guidelines.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for all sensitive information and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Stay current with changes in security policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in investigative roles, security, or a related field.
• Excellent interview and interrogation techniques.

• Must be eligible for and willing to undergo advanced security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Security Clearance Investigator within a government or defense contractor setting.
• Knowledge of UK national security vetting policies and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
• Accreditation or certification in investigative practices.
