Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to deliver robust and scalable applications within the Salesforce platform. A strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and API integrations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components (Aura and LWC), and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Perform declarative customizations including creating objects, fields, workflows, process builders, flows, validation rules, and page layouts.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and various integration patterns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in technical design sessions, providing input on technical solutions, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high quality and defect-free delivery.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing Salesforce applications.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes clearly and comprehensively.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce declarative tools (Workflows, Process Builders, Flows, Validation Rules).
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) for integration purposes.
- Familiarity with SalesforceDX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II highly preferred).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Experience with data migration and data management in Salesforce.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
