Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Rust Developer to join our innovative engineering team in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, high-performance, and secure software using Rust.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of critical network services, distributed systems, and data processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., SRE, product, security) to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across various layers of the software stack.
- Stay current with Rust ecosystem developments and best practices, integrating them where appropriate.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Rust programming language, including async Rust and the ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of systems programming concepts, concurrency, and memory management.
- Experience with designing and building high-performance, scalable, and reliable distributed systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and web technologies.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
