Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team in Phoenix. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks across various business units. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall financial stability of the company. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and control frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to financial services (e.g., SOX, GDPR, AML).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Financial Engineering).
  • Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or relevant certifications.
