Job Description

As a Risk Analyst at PwC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ risk management frameworks. This position involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring various risks that could impact business operations and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments, developing insightful reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses across various business functions and projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update risk registers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of identified risks and controls.
  • Monitor the external landscape for emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends that could impact our clients.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders and client leadership.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of robust risk mitigation strategies and control enhancements.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to embed risk awareness and best practices.
  • Support the development and delivery of risk management training and awareness programs.

Required Skills

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel (VBA is a plus), and familiarity with SQL or Python.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, PRM).
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software solutions.
  • Familiarity with specific industry regulations pertinent to financial services or consulting.
  • Prior experience in a risk management, audit, or consulting role, preferably within a large organization.
