Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Retail Stockroom Associate to join our vibrant team in Montreal. As a Stockroom Associate, you will be the backbone of our store’s operational efficiency, ensuring that our products are meticulously received, organized, and readily available for our guests. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an orderly stockroom directly supports the sales floor and contributes to an outstanding guest experience. This is an on-site role crucial to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely scanning.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom, including shelving, labeling, and inventory placement.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Replenish sales floor with merchandise, ensuring product availability and visual merchandising standards are met.
• Prepare merchandise for transfer or return, adhering to company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment, including waste management.
• Support the sales team by efficiently retrieving product from the stockroom as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and loss prevention.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) regularly
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency for inventory systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail stockroom, warehouse, or inventory role
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., POS, ERP)
• High school diploma or equivalent
