Job Description
LongHorn Steakhouse in Morgantown, WV is seeking a passionate and dedicated Restaurant Waiter/Waitress to join our energetic team. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, explaining daily specials and answering questions about food and beverages.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and service.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to management as needed.
- Process payments, operate POS systems, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting and clearing tables.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role.

- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
