Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our vibrant team at The Cheesecake Factory in Austin, Texas. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience for every guest. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them promptly.
• Presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations regarding food, beverages, and dessert specials.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system.
• Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues with grace and efficiency.
• Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including table setup and clearing.
• Collaborating effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members.
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and active listening.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role.
• Knowledge of common food and beverage terms and preparation methods.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
