Job Description

Our hotel in Montreal is seeking a motivated and friendly Restaurant Team Member to join our food and beverage team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are passionate about providing excellent service and contributing to a welcoming dining atmosphere for our guests. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience within our accommodation setting, from guest greeting to table service and maintaining cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously.
  • Clear and reset tables following established procedures.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for various meal periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including wiping down tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring dining areas are presentable.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints or escalate them to a supervisor.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
