Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team in Cincinnati. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in the restaurant industry, with immediate opportunities available. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation for our busy culinary staff. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, including work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Support kitchen staff by fetching ingredients and assisting with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by kitchen management.
