Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Restaurant Kitchen Porter to join our bustling team in Calgary. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including floors, workstations, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas, throughout the evening shift.
• Manage waste and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Receive and store deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
• Support the kitchen team by performing other duties as assigned to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Required Skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for evening shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
