Job Description

Texas Roadhouse in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Porter to join our back-of-house team. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and cutlery according to health and safety standards.
• Assist with the proper storage and organization of kitchen inventory, including food items and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces throughout the shift.
• Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Manage waste disposal, including emptying trash cans and recycling bins.
• Unload and properly store deliveries of food and other supplies.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
• Adhere to all restaurant safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.

Required Skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
