Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy team at Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start a career in hospitality, as no prior experience is required – we provide full training! You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen, ensuring our chefs can deliver the premium dining experience our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Assisting with the thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and floors.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised kitchen environment at all times.
- Efficiently managing waste disposal and emptying bins.
- Assisting with the proper storage of deliveries and stock rotation.
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks when necessary.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
