Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Transcriptionists and Captioners to join our dynamic global team. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video content accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Create synchronized captions for video content, adhering to specified style guides and timing requirements.
- Review and edit your own work, as well as the work of others, to ensure impeccable quality and consistency.
- Meet daily/weekly production targets and deadlines.
- Utilize transcription and captioning software effectively.
- Communicate proactively with team leads regarding progress, challenges, and queries.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols for all sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and a keen ear for detail.
- Superior written communication skills in English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficient typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
- Familiarity with various accents and dialects.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with online tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in transcription, captioning, or subtitling.
