Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Social Media Content Moderator to join our global operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across our platforms to ensure compliance with community standards, terms of service, and legal requirements. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to fostering a safe online environment will be essential in protecting our users and maintaining the integrity of our platforms. You will work within a fast-paced environment, making quick and accurate decisions based on complex guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate user-generated content (posts, comments, images, videos) to ensure adherence to community guidelines and policies.
  • Identify and escalate content that violates policies, including hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, and other prohibited material.
  • Apply moderation policies consistently and accurately, making objective decisions in a high-volume environment.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on content moderation decisions when required.
  • Stay informed about current events, cultural trends, and emerging policy challenges that may impact content moderation.
  • Collaborate with team leads and policy experts to improve guidelines and processes.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
