Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote File Sorting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our extensive digital documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for categorizing, indexing, and organizing a wide range of electronic files, ensuring they are easily retrievable and compliant with company standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of digital file management systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, categorize, and label digital files according to established naming conventions and departmental guidelines.
- Perform data entry and update file metadata to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in file organization and content.
- Assist in the migration of files between different storage platforms as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols for all sensitive information.
- Collaborate with team members to improve file management processes and workflows.
- Generate reports on file inventory and status as required.
- Provide administrative support for document retrieval requests from various departments.
