Job Description
Are you passionate about helping people and thrive in a customer-centric environment? We are looking for a dedicated Remote Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional support, answering inquiries, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their experience with TELUS products and services. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. Importantly, this role involves NO cold calling; all interactions are with existing customers or inbound inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding TELUS products, services, and billing.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and service interruptions with empathy and efficiency.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate TELUS solutions, including upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and problem resolution.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset for our diverse customer base in Quebec.
- Previous experience in a remote customer service or sales role.
- Familiarity with telecommunications products and services.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
