Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Content Moderators. In this crucial part-time role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies. This position offers flexible shifts, allowing you to manage your work-life balance effectively while contributing to a safer online environment. You will play a key role in protecting our users and upholding platform integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content including text, images, and videos according to established guidelines and policies.
- Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates terms of service, such as hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, or spam.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in content moderation decisions.
- Escalate complex cases or trends to senior moderators or specialized teams as needed.
- Provide feedback on policy improvements and contribute to training material development.
- Stay updated with evolving content policies, guidelines, and cultural nuances relevant to moderation.
- Work independently to manage a queue of content efficiently and meet daily targets.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
