Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Assistant to provide comprehensive support to creative entrepreneurs within the Shopify ecosystem. This part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about helping small businesses and creative ventures succeed. You will be instrumental in managing various administrative, operational, and communication tasks, enabling our entrepreneurs to focus on their core creative work. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for assigned entrepreneurs.
- Handle email correspondence, filtering, prioritizing, and drafting responses.
- Organize and maintain digital files, databases, and project management tools.
- Assist with social media scheduling, content curation, and community engagement.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential collaborations.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other business documents.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
- Coordinate virtual meetings and workshops, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
- Provide technical assistance for common software and online platforms.
- Support marketing efforts by compiling data and preparing simple reports.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite).
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and online business operations.
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
