Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. This unique opportunity includes visa sponsorship for eligible international candidates, demonstrating our commitment to attracting global talent. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and placing top-tier candidates into a variety of roles within our client organizations. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial client consultation and job order generation to candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping both clients and candidates achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, understanding their hiring needs and organizational culture.
- Proactively source and screen candidates using various channels, including databases, job boards, social media, and networking.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to clients, providing comprehensive profiles and relevant insights.
- Advise clients and candidates on market trends, salary expectations, and interview best practices.
- Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring process, ensuring a smooth transition for both parties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team recruitment targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and market intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant recruitment legislation and company policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a sales-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM software.
- Resilience, determination, and a positive, results-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international recruitment or visa sponsorship processes.
- Previous experience working for a large staffing agency or in a similar agency recruitment setting.
- Fluent in an additional language beyond English.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Knowledge of the local Columbus, Ohio job market.
