Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our esteemed medical team in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
- Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages.
- Consult with referring physicians on appropriate imaging protocols and interpretation of results.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other specialists.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
- Mentor and educate residents, fellows, and other medical staff as needed.
Required Skills
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Radiology residency program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (or equivalent international board).
- Current and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Hawaii.
- Demonstrated proficiency across various imaging modalities.
- Excellent diagnostic and interpretative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty such as Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Abdominal Imaging.
- Experience working in a multi-site healthcare system.
- Prior experience with teleradiology platforms.
