Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial in developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs that address community health needs and promote wellness. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to gather data, analyze trends, and design interventions that improve population health outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community health needs assessments and epidemiological studies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret public health data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on public health findings and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with local, state, and national health organizations, community groups, and internal departments.
- Provide health education and promotion to diverse populations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with public health regulations and policies.
- Assist in grant writing and resource development for public health projects.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program development, research, or evaluation.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of public health principles, practices, and epidemiology.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Public Health (CPH).
- Proven experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
