Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Public Area Cleaner to join our dynamic team at Hilton Garden Inn Tyler. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all public spaces within our hotel, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests and team members. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and public dining areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces to high standards of cleanliness.
• Empty waste bins and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other designated areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken items to management promptly.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner when encountered.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
