Job Description
Join the KP Snacks team in Rotherham as a Production Worker! We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate production line machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor product quality and perform visual inspections, reporting any defects.
- Package finished products according to specifications and prepare for dispatch.
- Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with machine changeovers and basic maintenance tasks as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially within food or FMCG.
- Understanding of HACCP or other food safety principles.
- Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
