Job Description
Join the Maple Leaf Foods team as a Production Operator at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Mississauga, Ontario! We are hiring immediately for full-time positions across all shifts. If you’re looking for a stable job with good pay, opportunities for growth, and a supportive work environment, this is the role for you – no experience is required as we provide comprehensive on-site training!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production lines for quality control and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills (English).
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work various shifts (days, afternoons, nights, weekends).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or factory setting.
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery (training provided on site).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
