Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our team in Batumi, Georgia. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring operational efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader, capable of inspiring teams and implementing strategic improvements to optimize production output and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily production operations, ensuring targets are met efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and processes to optimize resource utilization and achieve production goals.
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant national regulations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering departments to streamline operations.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets and control production costs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment (preferably building materials)
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in production planning and control software
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field) or Business Administration
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of Georgian or Russian language is a plus
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSP)
