Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven PPC Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling our paid search and display campaigns across various platforms, driving measurable results and contributing directly to our customer acquisition and brand awareness goals. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage highly effective paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and display advertising campaigns.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, bid management, landing page optimization, and ad copy refinement.
- Monitor campaign budgets, pacing, and performance to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Generate detailed performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in PPC and digital marketing.
- Collaborate with content, design, and analytics teams to ensure integrated marketing strategies.
- Identify and explore new channels, tools, and strategies to improve campaign efficiency and ROI.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance marketing KPIs (ROI, CPA, ROAS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they interact with PPC strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Shopping).
- Experience with programmatic advertising and demand-side platforms (DSPs).
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience with international market targeting and localization.
