Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to join our dynamic research team within a cutting-edge department at Wayne State University. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex research experiments and protocols independently and collaboratively.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret research data using advanced statistical and computational methods.
• Prepare and present research findings at scientific conferences and seminars.
• Draft and submit manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and applications for research funding.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in laboratory techniques and research methodology.
• Maintain accurate records of all research activities and findings.
• Participate in lab meetings, departmental seminars, and relevant training activities.
• Ensure compliance with all institutional safety and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Neuroscience, Computer Science, etc.).
• Demonstrated strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques or computational methods specific to the research area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with data analysis software and statistical tools.
