Job Description

We are actively seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our global team as Remote Podcast Transcribers. You will be responsible for accurately converting spoken audio from various podcast episodes into written text, maintaining our high standards for precision and adherence to specific style guides. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings of podcasts into clean, accurate text format.
• Review and edit transcripts thoroughly to ensure grammatical correctness, proper punctuation, and overall readability.
• Adhere strictly to client-specific guidelines and Rev.com's style guide for formatting and conventions.
• Manage your workload effectively to meet assigned deadlines consistently.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all audio content and client information.
• Utilize Rev.com's proprietary transcription platform and tools efficiently.

Required Skills

• Exceptional listening comprehension and ability to discern spoken words clearly.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently (a minimum of 50 WPM is recommended).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with online tools and platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with diverse podcast genres, terminology, and cultural references.
• Experience with various audio accents and challenging audio quality (training will be provided).
• Previous experience with transcription software or platforms (though not required).
• Self-motivated and capable of managing time and tasks independently.
