Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physicist to join our advanced research and development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting theoretical analysis, designing and executing experiments, analyzing complex data, and developing innovative solutions to challenging technical problems. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical research and develop models to explain physical phenomena relevant to advanced technology systems.
- Design, set up, and execute complex experiments, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility of results.
- Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical methods and computational tools.
- Develop and validate new algorithms and simulation tools for predictive modeling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and project managers.
- Prepare and present technical reports, papers, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: materials physics, quantum mechanics, optics, plasma physics, condensed matter physics.
- Proficiency in scientific programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with experimental design, data acquisition, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented research environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral research experience or equivalent industry experience (2+ years).
- Experience with specific simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, CST Studio Suite).
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and advanced fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for data analysis and modeling.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in project management or leading small research teams.
