Key Responsibilities
- Execute photography assignments including editorial, commercial, event, and portrait photography with a high degree of professionalism and artistic integrity.
- Utilize advanced photography techniques and equipment to capture stunning visual content that aligns with project briefs and Getty Images' quality standards.
- Manage all aspects of the photography workflow, from pre-production planning and equipment setup to on-site shooting and post-production.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, stylists, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver desired visual outcomes.
- Perform detailed image selection, editing, and retouching using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Ensure proper file management, metadata tagging, and submission of images to meet deadlines and content guidelines.
- Maintain and care for photographic equipment, ensuring its optimal performance.
- Stay current with photography trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and creative output.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse photographic styles and subjects.
- Expert proficiency in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other photography accessories.
- Advanced knowledge of photographic principles including composition, lighting, exposure, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, for image editing and post-production.
- Excellent understanding of digital asset management and metadata best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally for assignments as needed.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship, with a clear understanding of the application process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
