Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our dynamic in-house creative team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to Amazon’s visual storytelling across various platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality imagery for products, marketing campaigns, corporate events, and editorial content. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photography shoots from concept development through final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other studio tools to achieve desired aesthetic and technical quality.
- Perform extensive post-production editing, including retouching, color correction, and image manipulation using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver visuals that meet creative briefs.
- Manage and organize a large library of digital assets, ensuring proper tagging, backup, and accessibility.
- Stay current with photography trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance skill set and output quality.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members when applicable.
- Travel to various locations for on-site shoots as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional Photographer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in product, commercial, or editorial photography.
- Exceptional proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems, lenses, and professional lighting equipment (studio strobes, continuous lighting).
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for advanced image editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Experience working for a large e-commerce company or creative agency.
- Experience with 3D rendering or CGI integration.
