Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified physician who requires visa sponsorship to practice in the United States. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their healthy growth and development. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care for children from birth through adolescence, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct regular physical examinations and developmental screenings.
- Administer immunizations according to established guidelines.
- Educate parents and guardians on child health, nutrition, safety, and disease prevention.
- Manage and coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Engage in continuous professional development and medical education.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1 waiver).
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-residency clinical experience as a Pediatrician.
- Experience working in a large integrated healthcare system.
- Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish or Arabic.
