Job Description

Next PLC is seeking a dedicated and efficient Part-Time Retail Stock Associate to join our team in Manchester. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of merchandise, ensuring our sales floor is consistently well-stocked, and maintaining an organised backroom. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy retail team. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
  • Organise and maintain the stockroom, ensuring it is tidy, safe, and easily navigable.
  • Replenish sales floor inventory, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible to customers.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock audits, and loss prevention efforts.
  • Prepare merchandise for shipment or transfer to other locations as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding stock management and safety.
  • Collaborate with sales associates to ensure product availability and support sales objectives.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in a retail stockroom or similar logistical role.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
